APPARATUS FOR REMOVING BURR ON EDGE OF STRIP

PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing burr on the edge of strip is provided to prevent abrasion of specific portion of the removing roll and effectively remove chips generated during removing of the edge burr by rotation of driving roll by freely rotating removing roll according to proceeding of strip. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a sliding base(11) which is installed in the lower side, and on which a side trimmed strip is proceeded; a removal part for reciprocally bolting upper case(17) and lower case(19) in which a plural ball bearings(21) are installed so that spherical upper removing roll(13) and lower removing roll(15) are respectively rotated in the upper case and lower case and fixing the upper case or the lower case to the sliding base, wherein the upper removing roll and lower removing roll are rotated with being engaged with each other at the edge part of the strip; and a cleaning part in which rotation shaft(43) is fixed to the upper case and the lower case respectively, driving roll(67) rotationally installed at the rotation shaft is rotated with being closely adhered to the upper removing roll or the lower removing roll, and a brushing block for brushing removed burr and a magnet(55) adhered to the brushed burr are installed on rotation base(53) engaged with shaft of the driving roll so that the rotation base is rotated around the rotation shaft according to rotation of the driving roll.
