STERILIZATION METHOD BY FLOW THROUGH CONTAINER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization method by the flow through a container of sterilizer vapor in sterilization of various articles by a vapor sterilizer.

SOLUTION: A chemical vapor sterilization process is enhanced by flowing a portion of the sterilizer vapor through the instrument container using the normal portion of an exhaust process. Preferably, an exhaust conduit which draws a vacuum on a sterilization chamber is oriented so that the container is adjacent to an inlet to the conduit.
