<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device which is capable of dissipating heat released from a control board and a power module well even in a hot environment such as an engine room. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic control device is equipped with a heat-resistant housing case 41 which houses a control board 31 with electronic parts mounted on its undersurface and is equipped with connectors 43 and 45 on its one side wall, a die-cast mounting pad 51 which is die-cast together with control board supports 55, a frame-like fitting part 54, and external fixing parts 52 in one piece, and a metal plate 62 where the power module 61 is bonded. The mounting pad 51 is fixed on a transmission wall. When the metal board 62 is fitted to the bottom opening of the frame-like fitting part 54, the undersurface of the mounting pad 51 becomes flush with that of the metal plate 62 so as to serve as mounting surfaces on the the same plane, and heat released from the power module 61 is conducted to the wall. A heat transfer belt 56, which is formed in one piece with the frame-like fitting part 54 as it is continuously jointed to the frame-like fitting part 54, is brought into contact with the electronic parts, and heat released from the electronic parts are conducted to the wall. A plurality of lead conductors extending from the power module 61 and the connectors 43 and 45 are electrically connected on the top surface of the control board. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
