PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser machining device that can keep the machining positional relation constant in the front and the rear of a blank. SOLUTION: The laser machining device is equipped with; a workpiece holding base 2 that comes in contact with proper peripheral parts of a planar workpiece 13, that observably holds the parts to be machined on both sides, and that is installed movably along the plane of the workpiece and turnably; a front side observation camera (front side camera) 3 that is installed at a fixed position to enable one face to be observed for the workpiece held on the holding base; a rear side observation camera (rear side camera) 4 that is installed at a fixed position to enable the other face to be observed for the workpiece corresponding to the parts to be observed by the front side camera; and a laser beam machining device 5 the irradiation point of which is positioned within each visual field of the front and rear side cameras. The workpiece holding base is designed to hold the workpiece so that its plane is perpendicular. Machining is possible by simultaneously irradiating both sides of the workpiece with a laser beam.
