PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle capable of maintaining sufficient fitting strength of an upper handle fitting part and increasing the range of a molding condition, and a plastic bottle with the handle. SOLUTION: The handle comprises a grip portion 511, an upper mounting arm 512 and a lower mounting arm 513 protruded forward from upper and lower portions of the grip portion. In addition, in the handle of the plastic bottle having an upper extension portion 514 extending upward of the grip portion from the position from which the upper fitting arm is branched from the grip portion, the upper extension portion has a front plate 114 erected on the front surface side, a back plate 515 erected behind the front plate, and a vertical rib 516c to connect the front plate to the back plate in the vertical direction. The upper mounting arm has an upper plate 117 extending forward in a substantially horizontal direction from the position branching from the grip portion, a lower plate 518 disposed below the upper plate, and a horizontal rib 516a to connect the upper plate to the lower plate in a forward direction. The front plate and the upper plate are formed to form one curved surface, and a notch 12 continuous from the upper plate to the front plate is formed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
