PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance-free hard roofing material reduced in the cooling and heating cost, and improved in livability and the durability of a roof structure, with respect to a roof of venting construction method for efficiently releasing the heat/moisture of a garret to the external, taking the outside air, and dischaging the hot air. SOLUTION: A plurality of hollow holes H are formed on an approximately rectangular hard roofing material A from its downstream side toward an upstream side, a cover piece 2a projecting to the downstream side is formed on a downstream side end part of a decorative face 1, a water-proof groove 4b penetrated through the hollow holes H is formed near an upstream side end part, and further a side end wall of the downstream side end part is cut out.
