<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin air cleaner never causing an increase in cost with a simple structure by arranging a filter by use of a part that is a dead space in the past. <P>SOLUTION: This air cleaner has a centrifugal fan 2. In this air cleaner, an annular recessed part 14 opened on the front side and having an air communicating port 13 communicating with the inner side of the blades 10 and 10 of the centrifugal fan 2 is formed on the outer side of a recessed part 12 on the front side of a fan casing 7 constituting the centrifugal fan 2, and the front-side filter 15 is attachably and detachably installed to the annular recessed part 14. According to such a structure, the front-side filter 15 can be installed by use of the annular recessed part 14 that is the dead space in the past, and the longitudinal dimension of a body casing 1 can be minimized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
