<p>PURPOSE: A transmission device of a digital broadcasting system differentiating ECC(Error Correction Coding) processes according to communication environment is provided to perform ECC processes for data transmitted through an HP(High Priority) layer and data transmitted through LP(Low Priority) layer by using different encoders and interleavers, thereby differentiating the ECC processes. CONSTITUTION: An RS encoder(210) RS-encodes the first TS(Transport Stream). A BPC(Block Product Code) encoder(250) BPC-encodes the second TS. The first and second outer interleavers(220,260) re-array data encoded in the RS encoder(210) and data encoded in the BPC encoder(250), respectively. A convolution encoder(230) convolution-encodes the data re-arrayed in the first outer interleaver(220). A TCM(Trellis Coded Modulation) encoder(270) TCM-encodes the data re-arrayed in the second outer interleaver(260). An inner interleaver(240) re-arrays the encoded data, respectively. A modulator portion(300) digitally modulates the re-arrayed data, and transmits the modulated data.</p> |
