The invention concerns a machine for exposing printed circuit boards comprising: a horizontal support (24) for said printed circuit board; a printing plate support (10) vertically mobile relative to said support, said support comprising a substantially rectangular frame (16) and a transparent plate (18) for receiving a printing plate; a vertically mobile mount whereon is fixed the outer periphery of said frame (16); sealing means (38) for providing a seal between said printed circuit board support and said printing plate support frame; means for creating a vacuum between said frame and said support; and means forming an adjustable spacer (50), having an upper surface (50a) and a lower surface in contact with said frame and said printed circuit board support and extending along at least two opposite sides of said frame and arranged between said sealing means and the inner edge of said frame.
