PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable mounting to a lower side of a water channel step part without carrying out repair work and installation work of large scale. SOLUTION: A water storage tank 2 provided with a power generation unit 20 therein is installed to a lower side of the water channel step part Q. A water introducing member 10 for introducing water flowing in a water channel A to an inflow port is provided to the water storage tank 2. When the water stored inside the water storage tank 2 is made to flow to the lower side of the water channel step part Q from a lower part of the water storage tank 2, the water introduced by fixed vanes 22 of the power generation unit 20 rotates a runner 27, thereby driving a generator 24 of the power generation unit 20.
