<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable passing jig capable of easily pulling a cable in a conduit or passing an overhead wire without being entangled with other cable. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a passing rod 1, a bead 8 like an abacus bead which is a cone attached to the tip of the passing rod 1, and a shrinkable body 18 which is positioned behind the bead 8 and fitted to the passing rod 1 variable in external dimension according to an insert space for preventing entanglement with an existing cable. The shrinkable body 18 can be attached to the passing rod 1 by binding both ends of a plurality of thick fishing guts 16, or line materials, to the passing rod 1. A reference 12 of the binding part at one end is fixed to the passing rod 1 while the other end movably attached for free extension/shrinkage due to movement of a slider 24 at a movable end.
