METHOD FOR PROCESSING SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method which improves the sensitivity of a silver halide photographic sensitive material requiring the processing by a developing solution giving rise to a solution physical development and improves the preservable property. SOLUTION: The method for processing the silver halide photographic sensitive material includes a step of processing the silver halide photographic sensitive material containing one or more compounds of the following (1) to (4) by the developing solution giving rise to the solution physical development. The following compounds are respectively (1) the one electron oxidant formed by one electron oxidation can further release two or more electrons by being accompanied by the subsequent bond cleavage reaction. (2) The one electron oxidant formed by one electron oxidation can further release another one electron by being accompanied by the subsequent C-C bond cleavage reaction and has two or more adsorptive groups to silver halide within the same molecule. (3) The one electron oxidant formed by one electron oxidation can further release one or more electrons after undergoing the subsequent bond forming reaction. (4) The one electron oxidant formed by one electron oxidation can further release one or more electrons after undergoing the subsequent ring cleavage reaction within the molecule.
