PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle an excess part of an ink fed onto an intaglio printing plate cylinder in an intaglio printing machine. SOLUTION: In the intaglio printing machine provided with a freely rotatably supported intaglio printing plate cylinder 1, an inking device 4 for feeding the ink on this intaglio printing plate cylinder, and an ink removing device 11 for removing the ink fed on the intaglio printing plate cylinder 1, an ink recycling device 15 is provided on the upstream side of the ink removing device 11 in the rotating direction of the intaglio printing plate cylinder 1 and on the downstream side of the inking device 4, and the excess ink of the ink fed onto the intaglio printing plate cylinder 1 is recovered to return it to the inking device 4.
