PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new polymer which has sufficient ion conductivity at room temperature without containing a solvent. SOLUTION: A dendrimer has a carbon skeleton represented by formula (I-1) or (I-2) (wherein, m and n in formula (I-1) or (I-2) denote each independently an integer of 1 or more) and has, on a branched chain, a polymer chain containing a polar portion capable of forming a complex with an ion species or a polar portion capable of solvating an ion species. In formulae (I-1) and (I-2) only a skeleton of carbons is represented, at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an organic group and an organic group connected with a metallic bond is bound to each carbon atom or a multiple bond is formed with an adjacent atom so that each carbon atom has four bonds.
