<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head which has the center of gravity to the toe side and can be manufactured in high dimensional accuracy in a high yield. <P>SOLUTION: This golf club head 1 is made by welding a face part 3 and a crown part 4 to a head base body 2. The head base body 2 is formed by integrally casting a side face part 5 to the heel side, a backside face part 6, a side face part 7 to the toe side, a bottom face part 8 and a hosel part 9 by the lost wax method etc. The head base body 2 is a hollow shall shape and the upper face and the front face are open. The hosel part 9 is projected upward from the upper part of the head base body 2 and extended up to reach the bottom face part 8 through the head base body 2. A clearance V is opened between the hosel part 9 and the side face part 5 to the heel side.
