PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cancericidal cell activity composition capable of being used as a new medicine which kills cancer cells and is effective for reducing / exterminating tumors and for suppressing the growth of the tumors. SOLUTION: This cancericidal cell activity composition is characterized by containing a compound represented by the general formula (I) (R<SP>1</SP>is OH or the like; R<SP>2</SP>is H or the like; or R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>together represent an oxo group; R<SP>3</SP>is OH, or the like; R<SP>4</SP>is H; R<SP>3</SP>and R<SP>4</SP>together represent an oxo group; R<SP>5</SP>and R<SP>6</SP>are identically or differently methyl group or the like; R<SP>7</SP>, R<SP>8</SP>and R<SP>9</SP>are identically or differently H, or the like; the partial structure is expressed by either one of the structures A-1 to A-4).
