PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing hydrate, capable of quickening the growth of a hydrate film to a large extent by accelerating the mutual diffusion of guest molecules and water molecules. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing hydrate by reacting water molecules with guest molecules forming a hydrate under a high pressure and low temperature condition, the reaction of guest molecules and water molecules is performed in the vicinity of the dissociation temperature of the hydrate.
