<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal construction of an in-wheel motor capable of drawing a wiring from a stator coil outside a housing while surely preventing oil leakage, and capable of suppressing the rising of a manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A grommet 61 of elastomer is inserted and fixed in a grommet fitting hole 60 formed on one side of housings 2a and 2b. A power cable 52 from a stator coil 32 is drawn to the outside of the housings 2a and 2b through a seal hole 65 that penetrates the grommet 61, while a seal ridge 65a formed in the seal hole 65 is made to elastically contact the outer periphery of the power cable 52, for oil-tightness to be maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
