<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of relieving a load on a wireless network in the case of informing terminals in the wireless network about the presence of its own terminal located in the same wireless network, and also to provide a wireless terminal provided with the function. <P>SOLUTION: The method is based on a basic building block of the network comprising terminals each having a wireless relay function and is characterized in that placing a limit on searching paths on the network on the basis of the number of hops on the network at previous communication relieves the load applied on the network caused by broadcast communication for informing the other terminals about the presence of its own terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
