PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of filtration with which a high quality filtrate of a sulfuric acid solution free from corroded matters and foreign matters is obtained for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The method of filtration of a sulfuric acid solution uses a filter medium comprising a nickel-based alloy which is electrically connected with a precious metal and contains≥40 wt% and < 90 wt% of nickel and≥10 wt% and < 50 wt% of chromium.
