PURPOSE:To perform centralized control over many copying machines at one position by storing pieces of use value information on the numbers of copies, etc., classified by use departments on each copying machine side, allowing a communication with its controller, and also performing a communication between controllers in master-slave relation. CONSTITUTION:A figure shows the circuit constitution of a central controller and a data processing means consists principally of a CPU70, ROM71, RAM72, display interface 73, keyboard interface 74, printer interface 75, parallel/serial converting circuit 76 and its input/output circuit 77, communication interface 78, timer 79 for timing signal generation, and timepiece 80. Indications are supplied to the CPU70 so that the central controller 9 functions as a master controller when a switch provided to a back surface is turned on or as a slave controller when off. Consequently, controllers are placed in master-slave relation to perform the centralized control over many copying machines at one place. |
