METHOD FOR PREPARING CHARGE OF PURE AND MODIFIED MIXED LITHIUM AND GADOLINIUM ORTHOBORATE

A method for preparing charge of pure and modified mixed lithium and gadolinium orthoborate involves mixing preliminarily prepared original components at a stoichiometric ratio, thermal treatment of mixture with subsequent cooling thereof to the room temperature. The mixture is thermally treated in air medium by stages with keeping at each stage in such sequence: 550-600 DEGREE C - for 1-2 hours, then at 665-700 DEGREE C - 1-2 hours and at 930-1000 DEGREE C - 0.5-1 hour. The invention provides for preparing the charge with insignificant displacement of composition thereof of stoichiometric ratio and with a small concentration of admixture phases.
