METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING POSITIVE PHOTOSENSITIVE LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a positive photosensitive lithographic printing plate for allowing to have favorable plate wear and sensitivity in a positive lithographic printing plate which uses a supporting body subjected to silicate treatment.

SOLUTION: The positive photosensitive lithographic printing plate having the following image recording layer on the supporting body subjected to silicate treatment is kept at 26 to 39°C for 1 to 3 weeks after the image recording layer is formed, and preferably under the condition of ≥70% relative humidity. The image recording layer contains a water-insoluble and alkali-soluble resin and an IR absorbent and is increased in its solubility with an alkali aqueous solution by exposure to IR laser light.
