The coupling for attaching an agricultural machine to a tractor comprises six hydraulic cylinders (12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22) arranged to form a hexapod between the tractor and a coupling frame (24). This is attached to the outer ends of the cylinders and carries a coupling hook (26). Diagonally opposite upper and lower cylinders operate in opposite directions to compensate for tilting of the machine or tractor.
