PURPOSE: Provided is an aluminum alloy for casting, which has superior castability and mechanical properties at high temperatures, thus applicable liquid fuel combustion engine used at high temperature over 500 deg.C. CONSTITUTION: The aluminum alloy for casting comprises Cu 0.1 to 0.2 wt.%, Fe 0.5 to 0.7 wt.%, Si 0.2 to 0.3 wt.%, Mg 0.003 to 0.005 wt.%, Zn 0.002 to 0.004 wt.%, Mn 1.5 to 2.5 wt.%, Cr 0.003 to 0.005 wt.%, Ti 0.06 to 0.08 wt.%, Sn 0.002 to 0.004 wt.%, Pb 0.001 to 0.002 wt.%, Ni 2 to 6 wt.%, a balance of Al and incidental impurities.
