<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print instruction device, a printer and a print instruction method in which the operability of a user is enhanced by relieving burdens of item selection by making item specification of print conditions with high use frequency possible to be performed by the minimum processes. <P>SOLUTION: A user definition folder having a folder name to be analyzed by the printer and defining a print condition name with high use frequency by the user as a keyword is set, the printer is informed of the folder name of the user definition folder (S102) by dragging and dropping a print file to the user definition folder (S101), when the keyword is included in the folder name (S104) by analysis of the folder name by the printer (S103), the print conditions are set based on the keyword (S105) and print is performed by the print conditions (S107). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
