PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fence for preventing intrusion capable of effectively rejecting an intruder without particularly increasing strength of a strut itself or a base for erecting the strut while suppressing costs. SOLUTION: A plurality of fence panels 2 formed by combining a plurality of horizontal wires 22 and vertical wires 21 like grids is vertically arranged between the struts 1 erected with an interval in between. A pitch Pa of vertical wires 21 of a fence panel 2a arranged in a lowermost section is narrower than a pitch Pb of vertical wires 21 of a fence panel 2b arranged in an upper section so that a foot or footwear of a person trying to climb over can not be inserted between the vertical wires 21 of the fence panel 2a of the lower section.
