<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new added value by networking the appliances used in a general home. <P>SOLUTION: After a master device 10 and a slave device 11 are connected to communicate with each other through a lamp line network, the master device 10 transmits a command to request the information on power consumption to the slave device 11. The master device 10 displays the information on the power consumption of the slave device 11 on a display 27 according to the contents of response sent back from the slave device 11, thereby providing a new system presenting synthetic power consumption of general domestic appliances. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
