PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyimide controlled of its electroconductivity, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The polyimide film contains carbon nanotubes, and has surface resistivity in the range of 1.0×10<SP>5</SP>to 1.0×10<SP>12</SP>Ω, and volume resistivity in the range of 1.0×10<SP>5</SP>to 1.0×10<SP>12</SP>Ωcm. The method for producing the polyimide film comprises the steps of dispersing carbon nanotubes in a solution of a polyamic acid, casting the polyamic acid solution into a film and subjecting the film to ring-closing imidization treatment.
