PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for processing information capable of being applied to a new system in which part of the copy fee is paid by an advertisement sponsor. SOLUTION: The apparatus for processing the information stores attached information to information processed as prescribed by a device controller 104 for information input by a scanner 102 in a memory 105 and recognizes a margin of the information input by the scanner 102 by the controller 104. In this case, the apparatus controls to convert the attached information into the size of the margin by the controller 104 when the size of the information from the memory 105 does not match that of the margin recognized by the controller 104 and to attach the converted information. |
