<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a lot of man-hours is necessary to prepare a catalogue and a proposal form wherein a designer prepares the catalogue and a person in charge for business prepares the proposal form or that it is hard to prepare a catalogue having the layout appropriate to the quantity of the character information wherein the person in charge for business prepares the catalogue. <P>SOLUTION: In this layout system, the person in charge for business can prepare a catalogue, which is based on the aesthetic knowledge of a specialist and which has the layout appropriate to the quantity of the character information, by using a layout device. Since the person in charge for business independently prepares the catalogue having a function as a proposal form, a necessity of requesting a designer to form the catalog is eliminated, and man-hours for preparing the catalogue can be remarkably reduced. The layout device is formed of a layout information storage unit, a layout information acquiring unit, a character regulation information storage unit, a character information input unit and an input character determining unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
