<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dictionary for database search which can improve a processing speed of speech synthesis, and to provide a method, a circuit, and a program for creasing the database search dictionary, and a speech synthesizing device which synthesizes a speech by reference to the database search dictionary. <P>SOLUTION: The database search dictionary creating circuit 1 creating the dictionary 25 for database search 25, as a word/phoneme-classified dictionary, through which at least one of the name of a file containing words or phonemes, the recording positions on the recording medium where the words or phonemes are recorded, and feature quantities of the words or phonemes can be referred to is equipped with a word/phoneme-file name relating means 3a, a word/phoneme recording position relating means 3b, and a database search dictionary creating means 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
