PRODUCTION METHOD FOR COLLOIDAL SOLUTION, AND SUPPORT HAVING COLLOIDAL PARTICLE FIXED ON SURFACE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a colloidal solution by which colloidal particles of small particle size can be easily formed and further to provide a support by which the functions of a catalyst etc. can be brought out with high efficiency by fixing the colloidal particles on a base material. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the colloidal solution, a solution containing metallic salt and a reducing agent is boiled to form the colloidal particles. The concentration of the metallic salt in the solution is 1×10-4to <4×10-4mol/L, the equivalent concentration of the reducing agent is 4 to 20 times the equivalent concentration of the metallic salt, and reaction time is 60 to 300 min. The support in which the colloidal particles are fixed on the base material can be obtained by applying the colloidal solution produced by the above method to the base material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
