PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic document conveying device that can mount and dismount a driving shaft to which a calling roller and separating rotating body are attached on a device body and that can improve workability of replacement and maintenance work of each component by holding the calling roller with a calling roller holder together with a driving force transmitting member and allowing the holder to be attached or detached. SOLUTION: A separating belt 11 is attached to a driving shaft 15a and a calling roller 10 is attached to the shaft 15a through a driving force transmitting member including a driving gear 55, an idler gear 56, belt gears 57, 58 and 59, and the shaft 15a is made detachable to an ADF 6 body and the roller 10 is held in a case with the driving force transmitting member, which case 17 can be attached to and detached from the driving shaft 15a.
