PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve precision in quality estimation by resolving the cause of error in quality determination values due to the effects of the temperature of an ambient environment of a light receiver 18. SOLUTION: This apparatus for nondestructively determining the quality of agricultural products is provided with both a quality measuring means 4 for acquiring data for quality estimation for estimating the specific quality of fruit and vegetables 10 and a measuring means 9 for correction for acquiring data for correction for correcting acquired quality estimation values. The quality measuring means 4 is constituted of both a light source 17 for irradiating near-infrared light etc. and the light receiver 18 for receiving light transmitted through or reflected at the fruit and vegetables 10. By coating the light receiver 18 with a box 30, circumferentially providing a heat insulating material 31 for the inner circumferential surfaces of the box 30, and providing a temperature regulating system 32 as a heat retention means, the temperature of the ambient environment of a spectroscope 24 is made thermostatic.
