PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a quality improving agent to promote the growth of laver and improve the color and luster of a produced laver sheet. SOLUTION: This quality improving agent for laver culture contains an iron compound as a main component. The treating liquid containing the iron compound is effective for promoting the growth of laver and improving the taste, color and luster of the laver sheet by immersing the laver in the liquid or spraying the liquid to the laver.
