ACTIVE MATRIX TYPE DISPLAY DEVICE TO RESTRAIN THE GENERATION OF FLICKER AND IMPROVE DISPLAY QUALITY

PURPOSE: An active matrix type display device to restrain the generation of flicker and improve display quality is provided to reset an optimal supply voltage with respect to a common electrode or a source electrode per each display mode. CONSTITUTION: A memory(16) stores an optimal voltage value supplied to an electrode of a side which shifts a voltage waveform to fit the center of a waveform of a voltage supplied to a source electrode with the center of a waveform of a voltage supplied to a common electrode per each display mode. A common electrode driving circuit(15) reads the optimal voltage value corresponding to each display mode from the memory, and supplies the read optimal voltage value to the electrode of the side which shifts the voltage waveform.
