PURPOSE: A remotely paying system using a mobile phone and a method therefor are provided to allow a mobile terminal user to pay a charge according to a specific service and the purchase of a specific article through a mobile phone at a remote place. CONSTITUTION: A settlement request and settlement request data are received from an affiliated terminal(301,302). A voice and/or a text for checking settlement intention and informing of settlement amount is transmitted to a phone number of a remotely paying mobile phone(305). When there is a settlement intention from the remotely paying mobile phone(307), a residence number is received(319) and a remotely paying mobile phone authentication is requested from a mobile phone paying company(321). It is determined whether the remotely paying mobile phone authentication is made(317), and if the authentication is made, it is determined whether a settlement completion key is inputted(323). If the settlement completion key is inputted, a settlement completion signal is transmitted to the affiliated terminal(327). |
