PURPOSE: An anti-surge circuit of an adaptor for communication terminal is provided to prevent the damage of each element of the communication terminal by using a surge absorption device to discharge the surge voltage of the outside. CONSTITUTION: An anti-surge circuit of an adaptor for communication terminal includes a surge absorption element arrestor and a zinc oxide varistor. The surge absorption element arrestor performs a discharging operation to apply a predetermined voltage between both ends of the primary side and the secondary side of a transformer when a surge voltage is induced from the secondary side and the surge voltage is more than a predetermined level. The zinc oxide varistor has a rated voltage range and a symmetric voltage-current characteristic.
