PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television camera system capable of easily preventing a malfunction of a switch for constant-current switching. SOLUTION: A constant-current value detecting circuit 32 detects a value of a constant current I supplied from a power source part 4A; and when a higher value among two kinds of high and low constant current values is detected, a time-constant circuit composed of a diode 33, a capacitor 34, a resistor 35 and a voltage comparator 36 turns off an electronic switch 30, whereby the power source of a camera 1A is repeatedly turned on and off, and the fact of the repetition can be recognized on a screen of a monitor.
