PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid ejector provided with an easy-to-manufacture head. SOLUTION: A diaphragm 313, a cavity plate, and a nozzle plate 311 opening a plurality of nozzles 311A in a plurality of arrays are laid in layers, while covering a slit 314C, on a counterbore part 314A penetrating the slit 314C of a case member 314 composed of engineering plastic exhibiting a relatively high mechanical strength. A substrate 315 provided, along one side of a substrate 315B, with piezoelectric elements 315A being bonded to the diaphragm 313 through an adhesive 315E is contained in the slit 314C while directing the side provided with the piezoelectric elements 315A in the same direction as the case member 314, and then the substrate 315 is bonded fixedly by means of the adhesive 315E. Since arrangement can be carried out automatically and collectively and the adhesive 315E is injected from the same direction, productivity can be enhanced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
