PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk player capable of easily taking out a disk 30. SOLUTION: The disk player is provided with a turntable base 32 which is provided with a horizontal turntable, a table upward and downward moving mechanism which moves the base 32 up and down, a pair of dome halves 81 and 82 which have two kinds of large and small arch shapes to cover the disk 30 on the turntable, a dome opening and closing mechanism which is used to open and close the halves 81 and 82 and a mover mechanism which drives the table upward and downward moving mechanism and the dome opening and closing mechanism.
