A process for evaporating a liquefied gas by heat exchange with ambient air is described. The liquefied gas is fed alternately to a first and a second evaporator unit (7, 9) and evaporated therein. The other evaporator unit, in the meantime, is freed from the ice coating which has formed in the course of the preceding evaporation. For the evaporation, the vaporised gas is heated and passed through the evaporator unit to be freed from the ice coating. <IMAGE> |
