<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive for an optical member having an especially large application area, relaxing a stress of a member such as a polarizing film, a phase difference film or an elliptic polarizing film with a dimensional change, not only preventing peeling or foaming but also suppressing color shading due to light leakage and having a short aging time and to provide the optical member using the pressure-sensitive adhesive. <P>SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive is obtained by subjecting a pressure-sensitive composition composed of 100 pts. wt. of an acylic polymer which is a copolymer of a monomer mixture containing 100 pts. wt. of an alkyl (meth)acrylate, 0.1-10 pts. wt. of a monomer having a hydroxy group and 0.05-3 pts. wt. of a monomer having a specific functional group and having 500,000-2,000,000 Mw according to a gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and an isocyanate compound to a cross-linking reaction and regulating the gel fraction to 1-50%. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer composed of the pressure-sensitive adhesive is formed on one or both surfaces of a support such as the polarizing film, the phase difference film or the elliptic polarizing film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
