<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase customers' buying intention and to secure the profit of a shop in a point service system. <P>SOLUTION: This point service system specifies a customer on the basis of customer identification information stored in a membership card, for example, a membership number, performs the drawing to the specific customer, and accumulates and adds the points corresponding to a result of the drawing to a point file. A file of the number of winners for storing the accumulated number of winners by every prize of the drawing, and a file of the allowable number of winners determined by every prize of the drawing are prepared, and the winning of the prize is canceled out when the number of winners is over the allowable number of winner on the basis of these files (S13-S14). As the total number of points applied corresponding to each prize is not increased to a degree having the influence on the profit of a shop, the buying intention of the customers can be improved, and the profit of the shop can be secured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
