PURPOSE: To provide a rod part fixing structure for reliably preventing the deviation in position of a vertebra connecting member. CONSTITUTION: This rod part fixing structure for the vertebra connecting member is the structure for fixing a rod part 7R including the vertebra connecting member to connect separated vertebra. The structure includes: a pressure fixing tool 13 for freely pressure-fixing the rod part 7R with respect to a circular rod engagement part 9 to be freely engaged with the rod part 7R; and small projecting parts 15 making an acute angle to hold the rod part 7R at both the ends of the rod engagement part 9 which is located outside of the pressure fixing tool 13. The curved surface of the rod engagement part 9 between the small projecting parts 15, which is arranged in the rod engagement part 9, is formed to have a coarse surface.
