The mechanical drive actuators, such as single phase induction motors, receive commands from a transmitter using receivers placed one in front of the other. The transmission commands are sent in a succession of interrupted half AC cycle periods followed by a complete cycle period. A stop order is given by producing a line interruption period longer than a half period. Independent claims are included for : (1) a command transmitter; (2) a command receiver; and (3) an installation including an actuator connected to a command receiver.
