PURPOSE: A multi-functional gas cutting apparatus for a cylindrical container is provided which extremely easily and accurately performs the cutting operation for the welding work including flange connection of cylindrical steel pipes such as large scale water pipe and manhole without the manual work of a worker. CONSTITUTION: The multi-functional gas cutting apparatus for a cylindrical container comprises a base (20) equipped with a hydraulic jack (22) pressed and fixed to four points on the inner circumferential surface of a cylindrical container; a vertically moving member (50) which is rotationally and vertically moved, wherein the vertically moving member is equipped with a first vertical axis (30) rotationally installed at the upper side of the base, and a second vertical axis (40) vertically movably inserted into the first vertical axis; a horizontal moving member (80) which is rotationally and horizontally moved, wherein the horizontal moving member is equipped with a first horizontal axis rotationally connected to the upper side of the vertically moving member, and a second horizontal axis (70) horizontally movably installed on the inner side of the first horizontal axis; and a torch part (130) comprising a moving block (100) vertically movably installed at a fixed block (90) which is coupled to the front part of the second horizontal axis, a gas torch (110) installed at the front of the moving block for cutting the container as moving along the inner circumferential surface thereof and a moving roll (120), wherein the apparatus can easily gas cut the container in X and Y directions of the cylindrical container.
