PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the easy confirmation or adjustment of traveling state of a belt 46 in a factory in a drive unit having a main rope 3 connected to a cage or the like and a shieve 42 for winding the main rope 3, which drives the main rope 3 in its longitudinal direction by pressing the part wound on the sheave 42 of the main rope 3 by the circumferentially moving belt 46. SOLUTION: The belt 46 travels in the state where an attachable and detachable rope fixture 10 is mounted on the groove of the sheave 42, whereby the confirmation or adjustment of traveling state of the belt 46 is easily performed in the factory.
