PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature compensating device of a torque sensor capable of reducing a cost by reducing the number of parts. SOLUTION: This torque sensor is equipped with a pair of coils 11, 12 having inductances changing mutually in the reverse directions corresponding to a torque, and a torque detection means 20 for determining the mutual voltage difference between first and second voltages V<SB>1</SB>, V<SB>2</SB>outputted through smoothing circuits 23, 24 based on each inductance change, and outputting it as a torque detection voltage Vt. This temperature compensating device is equipped with another pair of smoothing circuits 23, 24 for outputting a first correction voltage V<SB>1</SB>' and a second correction voltage V<SB>2</SB>' respectively based on each inductance change, an addition means 47 for adding V<SB>1</SB>' and V<SB>2</SB>' together to determine a temperature correction voltage Vs, a storage means 33 for measuring beforehand and storing correlation between V<SB>3</SB>and a temperature correction valueΔV, a means 30 for collating Vs with the correlation stored in the storage means to thereby extract a corresponding temperature correction value, and a correction means 30 for correcting the torque detection voltage Vt by the temperature correction value.
